Be cautious with charging batteries and working around them, especially Lithium Polys, If you use thes batteries if you see any swelling of the battery itself, dispose of it immediately, they do not like extreme temp changes, and if you ever bang or tap one, keep an eye on it! They give mega power, but they are sensitive little monsters...;) The person just brought their E-Bike outside their house just in time, this what happened.

Lithium batteries are pretty dangerous.

Eating my chili is more dangerous than that... o_O
 
I heard-- then saw what happens when a car battery explodes when I was in high school.... walking back to school after lunch several of us HEARD the POW! .... and turned to see/hear the guy across the street screaming and grabbing his face ................. I immediately RAN to the school to get them to call 911 my friend Patrick (who later become a fireman-- firemedic and served in the air force) ran TOWARDS the man
battery acid and flesh dont like one another

We had a lead/acid battery blow on a forklift years ago. Mechanic was lucky. No skin damage. But by the time he drove the 30 minutes home, his blue jeans had basically dissolved.
 
With the hobby i am in using battery packs TX and RX, i have gained experience over the years, and have respect for these powerful tools..
