I've loved that tune since I was a kid. My mother gave me her original German pressing of the single. It looks like a Vox Continental organ in the video, but I remember reading once that they used the same type of synthesizer that was used for the Dr. Who theme. While we were in London a few years ago, we went to the pub in Islington that Joe Meek and the Tornados would hang out at, The Famous winkie.
