-- been curious-- I have a clip on (not a strap on you purvs !!! .....dont need one ;) )

what ARE "in line" tuner pedals ? Digital?
clip ons are VIBRATORY (?) I think -- (stop snickering ...... you KNOW who you are! )

so .... after slithering through the mire of PURVY undertones ............

whats the best tuner
?? do they make an ANALOG tuner ?
many "multipedals" and processors and combo amps even have a TUNER function ..........what are they?
they are EVERYWHERE ...........
I mean there are pedals there are clip ons there are amps?? things like this

has anyone compared?

what is the most ACCURATE ???

I use the Polytune minis, another polyphonic tuner that shows all strings at once if you strum.
I have clip on ones too for around the house. I think any tuner would be plenty accurate enough for anyone's ears. Even if tuner shows a difference in tune, if you can't hear it who cares?

oh and APS!!! what about tuner "APS" on your cell phone ! anyone use those?
(ive not ben to impressed with their accuracy) ......

didnt even know that was possible ....................
this one
?
Yes. It works great on a dark stage. It is nit built that well. Mine has needed repairs couple of times. No soldering involved it was just parts coming loose and needing to be put back together. After the repairs it has never had a problem. To be fair it lives in the bottom of my gear bag and gets knocked around a lot.

SOLDERING IS A SIN! ;)

On the pedalboard is a Peterson Stomp Classic. I love it. I like the compensated settings.

On the workbench is a Peterson VS-1 Strobe tuner which is also great.

For my acoustics or when I don't feel like having things plugged in, I use a little Boss TU-80. It also has a metronome for practicing. Very useful, and only around $20 when I bought mine.

I have a boss TU-2 that I found was always tuning stuff sharp. It's now living in a box of pedals I don't use.
