norlin era Gibbo "posi-lock" ............no BEFORE THE HATERS HATE its not going to allow you to do this

but it does hold up well......I guess.....whats a strap again?

I have a bag of those that I bought on ebay years ago. No plating though, just bare pot metal. Got to use them because I like them. I have them on a couple of guitars where they were stock.

...he ruined it for me. I like yours better. Bigsby's are out in my house as well as 12 pound guitars! The Bigsby is the reason I sold that Bright Green SG Deluxe...

I've owned exactly one guitar with a Bigsby, an SG, and I hated everything there was to hate about that contraption. I won't even pick up a guitar that has one and try it out; Bigsby's are total deal-breakers for me.

Love mine---

Honestly I dont use it much but I have zero tuning issues-- proper nut -- MAPLE neck and roller bridge.........its lovely

I'm with you GBall! I've had two, one was that SG and the other a Gretsch that almost demands a Bigsby. Never again!

FT8l1Un.jpgI really want go get a mid late 70s LP of some sort, preferably Alpine White if I could find. Will probably just buy a new one before I can find one.
I do have a 1975 L6-S, ome of my favorites. My first guitar was a 1978 Goya copy if this amd love it so much wanted to find a Gibby. Was only made from 73 - 80. Fast thin neck, jumbo freats, 6 position PUp selector, all maple, tone amd midrange controls.

One of our three guitarist's (bought brand new) 1976 Les Paul Deluxe. This model actually says "Les Paul Deluxe" above the tiny serial number...

Its in for a dead bridge volume pot. I'm also cleaning it and oiling the fretboard, which was both dry and dirty. The entire length of the back of the neck is worn to bare wood.

Not the first run Deluxe one piece neck they are rare but that's how Gibson made the second issue Les Paul's. 1970 Gibson 3 piece top pancake body.
My Les Paul Custom one piece body and neck dates 1968/9 no volute.
My 1977 Gibson RD Standard has maple body and neck with the volute.
