I ran into a snag---the stock PG is warped rather badly -- it dips AND bows (dip on the inner side of the pups -- BOWS on the outer--)--- I cut the openeings to use rings-- as I had seen this

And was going for the ring look -- honestly to HIDE some "not so perfect" dremel moves ---

PRoblem warped PG and a proper bridge pup ring are TO HIGH for the LOW LOW action on this rig---- so I am searching new Pickguards............

Just not getting the desire for pickup rings when one has a perfectly serviceable pickguard that holds the pickup.
But to each his own.
If you MUST have the rings, a pair of flat, not angled rings for a neck pickup would be the way to go.
The black metal ones would be close to perfect for this application.

A non warped pickguard will just be icing on the cake.

yes non warped pick guard is more the issue--
HOWEVER you see when routing the holes to accept the larger covered pup-- I NOTCHED OUT the screw hole (to allow the spring/screw to work with the pickup ring) -- so-- uhm the current pickguard doesnt "function" as it did previously
SO I cant "go back" to this

I think the pup rings on the pickguard looks good, myself.
Not only different, but it has a mag wheel effect on it.
