Best budget tube amp???

I gotta say----Ive owned one and -- those little Grumpy Chihuahua's (Orange Micro Terrors) are dang nice for the $$$

if you wish to get LOUD in a 5 watt head this is ALL YOU NEED

that little beastie packs a nice all tube 5 watt PUNCH
takes pedals WELL and can be had online used for 80-90.00 all day long ---

if your a "pedal" guy THIS is a great little low $ platform
 
@gball: The volume level - as you say - is very close, but the tone was thinner...the 40 sounds bigger...literally massive...and some of that may be the 55Hz speaker???

Here's my settings. Note volume on '4' which is the lowest volume setting I use for practice:

For a budget amp ? I will say Marshall origin for late 70’s into hair metal with pedals, all around DSL40C, it can do quite a bit on a pocket friendly budget. I know I am bit biased on my picks , but Orange, Vox, And Mesa, are excellent amps but not so budget friendly. YMMV! Cheers Mitch
