BENGALS ARE GOING to the SUPERBOWL!!!

Yep its true.i told ol lady at 2cnd guarter Bengals gonna come back and win in the second half lol. She didnt belive me.Told her that field goal and a interception and theyd be right in er. Now of course i was talkin poop but it happened BWHAHAHAH

Oh, the Rams are going....Down!
I'm hoping it's a good game, and also hoping that the results are not dictated by bad officiating... which happens too often! I was actually rooting for the Bengals to make it to the Superbowl even though I like the Chiefs too. Bengal's quarterback Joe Burrow: The more I hear this young man talk, the more I like him. Class act, all the way!

Diehard Patriots fan here, thru thick and thin. But, for 2 nights only, I'm gonna back the Bengals and tonight was one of them. They got a unique parallel with the Patriots of 2001 that we were just discussing in another thread.

Back then, the Patriots were nothing, lower than nobodies. Brady was #199 in the 6th Round the year earlier and was thrust into the driver's seat after Drew Bledsoe was crushed early in the season. No big names on the team and yet they slugged it thru the playoffs and reached the Superbowl against the Rams: The Greatest Show On Turf. A team who had all the stars, all the odds and all the fanfare. And the Patriots slayed a giant in front of the world.

Now EXACTLY 20 years later, here are the Rams with the most star loaded team in the league ( they havent had a 1st Rd pick since 2018 and wont have one until 2024 due to trades for superstars). They are uniquely playing at home in a new stadium which has never happened before and the odds are already in their favor by 4 points.

Yet, here comes this team out of nowhere, with a young QB in Joe Burrow who was out 14 months with an ACL tear prior to this season. Though he has now lead the league in rookie WRs, Jamaar Chase was written off as overrated in the draft and is the closest thing they have to a "star" player. No big name free agents or veteran players, hell even the kicker is a rookie. And here they are, slaying giants along the way that no one thought they could and they did it as a full team unit.

Sounds awful familiar to me. So for that? "Who Dey?!?!?!"

It's been such a long time coming. You don't know how hard it is to be a loyal fan since I was a young kid! The Bengals have just been so bad so many years. This is huge
breath of fresh air. Even if it only happens once every 30+ years I get to enjoy it this year! I hope to meet some players when I'm working the detail at the practice field the week
prior to the big game!

Who Dey!

I'm a transplant and I still love my old roots. I like it here okay, but I hope to move on as soon as I retire. I just have to convince the wife...
Cincy fan huh.
I’m a Pitt fan, and even though they are rivals from across the river, I was behind them in the playoffs. (I knew the Steelers weren’t making past the 1st round).
The thing about the Bengals, they made it this far in quiet fashion. No big stories like the rams, packers, KC, bills. Just under the radar.

This will most likely be the last time I cheer for them.
I can’t believe I’m about to say this.
GO BENGALS!!! Make the AFC proud!
(Man that was like vinegar in my mouth)

Oh. And one last thing.
My wife says the Bengals will win because Tigers can eat Goats.
Now how can you argue that logic?
