That image reminds me of an old married couple where she does not shut up and he has heard everything she has to say a whole lot more than once. In short, he looks miserable.

It's the opposite in my marriage, I'm so interesting I have to tell my long suffering wife my stories over and over again, I think she loves to hear them :-)

My wife is polite enough to not tell me she’s bored with my stories when we are in public. In private she only lets me tell one or two before she hints she may have heard them before :)

I've had some training in public speaking, when it comes to my family I do my best to entertain them especially the kids & grand children.
The younger the subject the bigger stories you can get away with. Sometimes it comes back to bite you :-(
My adult son asked me a couple of years ago "Dad did you really invent the idea to put the stars around the Paramount Movie logo?"

I'd forgotten but he tells me when he and his sister were little I told them about branding products and development of trademarks. Apparently Paramount also forgot about my contribution as they haven't sent my cut. :-)
 
My next door neighbor invented broccoli pizza.
No I'm not joking.
He used to manage Ray's Pizza in Manhattan
and one day he tried it and the rest is history.
 
The Japanese perfected seaweed pizza years ago with the addition of some corn for texture...

When we were kids we talked the local pizza guy into making us a polish sausage and spaghetti pizza. Messy, but pretty darn good.
