Also true of Louis Armstrong. While he remains one of the most talented musicians of the 20th century, it is not easy to find an extended solo.

I saw BB in a theater in Oakland about 1968. BB was very much a band leader and singer more than a guitarist. Irv Ashby, who had played with Lionel Hampton and Nat king Cole's bands, was with BB that night and BB played his usual fills.
