WE shall open the realm of what is arguably the quintisential tool in any bass players arsenal----- the JAZZ BASS.
Mine happens to have had a bunch of MISFITS scrawl poppycock all over it .......but I guess those guys can because----well---I could take out at least one of them but the rest would kick my arse......

ANYWAY.............back to the BASSics

Love the jazz. It's one of the first bass I became familiar with as a kid. My brother used to have one, and he would strap it to his Honda street bike and go jam. It was a sight. He still has it and I immediately pick it up when I visit.

Well--- now I am REEEEAAAALLLYYYY going to piss you off...(not really--and I do not want to sound braggadocious) .....the BAss --- the Signed Bass (FYI ITS A SQUIRE JAZZ BASS ---so dont get too excited)
was FREE!
Gradus --- el zero buckareenos --- sent to me by an ex-coworker friend who had struggled through some hard times--- and came out the other end better---happier and all around WELL OFF--- he remembered my help and camaraderie and wanted to do something in return--- he is now ( great friends with the members of the band the Misfits --his neighbors) and is doing quite well.

Im glad I was and AM able to be there for comic relief and useless banter when life blows.
