My FIRST EVER Warwick (I know right?) I was actually shopping to replace my flipped out for 100% profit Thunderbird ---- when I came across the Vampyre --- and well its now at my house......
ANyway -- MY review of this beast.
SOlid bass, well made, tuners are awesome neck is great not SKINNY but not a baseball bat....mid "C" I say--- has a COOL "just-a-nut" adjustable nut feature allows LOW LOW LOW string action and (FOR RAY) amazing ADJUSTABILITY
Active MEC pup system gives it the down low on turbo (thats TURBO DOWN LOW for those not in the KNOW)
Cool shape ----and oddly LIGHT ----
now--- as a normally staunch advocate of HEAVY basses this is probably the lightest bass I own at present. and while well made and good kit--- it doesnt INSPIRE me to beat people to death with as say a Peavey T series would.....the knobs FEEL cheap and turn way to easily (if that makes sense)
ITs a good bass, but I can tell it is at the "bargain" end for Warwick --- these go new for 400.00 to 650.00 on the interwebs........IMHO you can go WAY FURTHER in "ROCK solid bass" with say an American Peavey for considerably LESS money......or a used higher end Squire or MIM Fender Jazz for instance.
This one is here.....its "hanging" .......for how long is up to fate ---- shes on the market if anyone is "interested"
HEre is a video of her in action
