Ibanez TMB310 Talman - Turquoise Sparkle

Johnny Long did a review of the TMB100--- the 310's little brother --- and loved it

the factory finish and feel of the bass is WAY beyond its price point IMHO it is very nice and a very good bass in that 300.00 range..
PErsonally ----it didn't have the low end I like or a tone that was usable for me--- it had many great tones ---just not mine--

the neck is great --- frets smooth ---Ibanez makes a solid product at all price points-- I find however they are lacking a certain SOUL from time to time. Despite the 70s FUNK A LISCIOUS paint--and Active pups--- this one fell short on my boom a meter

I was looking at those and didn't get a "Buy Me" groove for them. Sounds were okay, but the weight of the one I tries was over 10lbs!

I have at least 4 that are over 10lbs .........not a deal breaker in my book ---if they sound good and say PEAVEY on them lol

Weight is always a deal breaker for me...I just can't heft those 10+ pound beasts around...my back and neck won't stand for it. Even sitting 10+ pounds is uncomfortable.

Thankfully --- I am able to deal with it -- even though I have 2 blown discs myself--

Lots of HEAVY weights here....some light ones as well but the majority are chunky monkeys

3 ruptured Cervical and 2 ruptured Lumbar...I'm surprised I still get around...
