I happened to run across this video.

It's a pretty interesting comparison. The song is played through its entirety twice - once with the Rick and once with the Peavey. And, this dude can play!

Ive seen this feller before--- and yes EXCELLENT playing--- of course -- his T-40 would sound better with wood pup rings

IMHO the T-40 (which can be had for around 600 (or less I paid 400) all day long--find a Rickenbacker for even double that is hard) SLAYS the Ricki--- and it sounds like at least 4 OTHER BASSES as well......yes I am prejudice ......but Peaveys just flat out KILL for the $$$ you spend on em....
