I participate in a weekly improv challenge at strat-talk.com. The backing track for last week was an acoustic track with no bass. I decided to try improvising a lead part on bass. The playing is pretty sloppy but I like the tone. I may try this, playing lead on bass, more often.

That is an Epiphone Slash Signature. Very nice guitar stock with the Seymour Duncan Slash pickups. He added the Bigsby. I had one for awhile.
