I just returned home a few hours ago from my drive back home from Orlando.

I took an extra day yesterday and went full-bore tourist. We visited Sea World and had a great time.

Here are a couple of pics...

A shot from the killer whale show:

And...a shot from the dolphin show:

At any rate, it was a great time.

AND, in all seriousness, I really want to thank eSGEe for taking the time and making the effort to link up, have some lunch, fondle guitar gear, and just talk. When we were all done, he even took me back to my hotel...even though it was across town...in the opposite direction of his own house...and in the rain!

(BTW, he didn't bad-mouth anyone on the forum behind their backs!)

So, Adrian, thanks man. I've gotten a chance to meet the legend and it was a real treat!

I do hope to return. My wife loved the place and it was a thoroughly enjoyable time.

Great pics.
Glad you made it back safe and also very glad we where able to meet up. Was a bunch of fun. Will remember that visit EVERY time I turn on the Mustang ;)

Legend? --- well thank you Sir. I dont think I am of Legendary status...perhaps Iconic....but not legendary not YET anyway lol

Come on back when ya'll can play longer!!!!

I am jealous of how you east coast people get together. Looks like y'all had a great time.

Ya'll nbeed to just DO IT.

pick a day--- make the time..... you only get so much --- if the opportunity presents --- do it if not let it ride.

ALl the meetings this side have been "loose" --- "if it works" sort of things--- no stress or pressure. :)

As promised, here are a few more pics from Sea World.

This is just one of the killer whales mid-flip:

Speaking of flips, this is another dolphin flip. The dolphins can really catch air!

There is a manatee exhibit at Sea World, which I liked. This shot shows two of the juveniles. All that leafy stuff floating in the water is lettuce. Manatees are herbivores, and it was feeding time.

There is a pretty cool penguin exhibit there, featuring several species of penguins. The air temperature is kept in the '30s. That was a little bit of a shock, since the temperature outside was 90 degrees F.

This penguin was a lot of fun. It repeatedly swam right up to the edge of the enclosure toward people. In this shot, I was about 18" from it.

Anyhoo, just a little more to look at.
