I have a squire Precision. String changed once. I was trying to find a set during "corona" around here good luck.

24 years ago I gave a P bass to my friend Betsy she never played it gave it back to me it's got the sound
just plugging it in to the recording board. I have a Spector it's OK and a G & L 5 string active.
The P bass is the hands down winner for me.

I couldn’t make up my mind when I bought mine. P bass or J bass. So I bought an Ibanez PJ Bass.

Absolutely!! Not remembering last time I changed mine...... but I changed then because I couldn't remember the last time I'd changed them. I sense a pattern.

Sweetwater. I heard that carry them. Can’t confirm.
