And that’s also an excellent idea of making it feel like a real stage.

There's nothing like a good old lava lamp. Psychedelic classic. When I ran studios, the control rooms were never without one.
(Not the soundrooms tho - lava lamps have been known to break if knocked over, and the wax is impossible to get out of carpeting.)

I love lava lamps. I've got like, 4 of them. I think a couple have plumb worn out. The wax sticks to the globe for some reason. I have one that used to be nice and clear but lately it's cloudy too. I dunno what's the deal there.
