I tried my hand at a couple rack mounted thingy's like the Eleven Rack (wouldn't mind giving it a whirl again) but they just aren't my thing. I could buy 2 or 4 DSL50's for that thing and be happier. Heck I could get a 1987x or a Dr. Z for the price of that!

Yes! I had a Heathkit shortwave radio, which was built by my father in the early 70s. It looked very much like that, including the color.
