I read this and instantly thought 700cc Maico
I’d have hurt myself on a bigger dirt bike. Came close enough on those little guys.
My 1982 XR500R isn't as tough to control as the Maico 700.
I was under-biked. I should have been on a 250. A little more torque. Not such a narrow powerband. I was a 20 year old racing motocross on a 125 against 14/16 year old kids that I outweighed by at least 25 pounds. I had a full time job. They had girl friends to impress. I wasn’t fast. But I sure had fun.
