Ambassador
Hear Ye, Hear Ye. A new day is upon us.
So here is the deal. As a way to have fun and recognize members for their contributions to the forum, a member shall receive the title of Ambassador after they reach 1,000 posts.
I know what you are thinking...Ambassador of what?? Well that is the fun part. After someone hits their 1,000th post, any member may start a thread nominating them for their appointment as an Ambassador. The thread should be started here, at the News Stand. Each nomination will get its own thread.
Members will make suggestions for the full title. Suggestions should be based on the personailty exhibited by the individual over the 1,000 posts. For instance, Esge may be the "Ambassador of Bargains". The suggestions should not be derrogatory or profane or intended to offend. However, that does not mean you cannot have fun with the person or make it a playful nickname. For instance, I would expect someone to nominate me for the "Ambassador of Spell Check". The nominee may veto any name they are not comfortable with, but members are encouraged to have a sense of humor about themselves. A member may also decline the nonimation if they do not want an Ambasadorship.
Everyone is eligible, members, admins and mods.
