Anyone up for a challenge?

hey Mitch great chugs there bro... when i get time ill jam more on your tracks and maybe re arrange some riffs, will see... ive learnt finally that song the one giving me hard time, i got one more pain in the booty song to learn. :) likley its not long, as usual its the clean parts are messing with me. :)
Thanks buddy
I know the clean stuff gives me headaches sometimes, but I do have a few that have clean passages, maybe I should put some demonic down tuned riffs with them!!
Cheers

I missed the start of this, nice playing all of you.
I usually play the same guitar and / or amp for at least a few days or a week or more.

I have started to make it a point (again) to spend some time on acoustic as well.
As such, I am not up for a challenge (seems like just making it through each day is challenge enough). 1/2 lol.

I did start re learning Beatles And I Lover Her and continue work to get GnR riff / verse / pre-chorus / chorus right in Out to Get Me.

When I start getting something down, or make it through without (often) mistakes at a point where I am no longer just at the edge of my ability.
- Doesnt feel like I am trying too hard anymore and am able to focus on timing, variations in attack, vibrato, etc.
All that is great, and more FUN.

I hate:
Then I dont play that song for a while - and much is lost as I claw back trying to get where I WAS. :BH::BH::BH::BH::BH::BH::BH:
The riff to Thin Lizzy Emerald was going well and went all to sh:dancepoo:t.
That is challenging for me / representative of where I am skill wise but was really getting comfortable with it.

good luck man and take it easy.

Not an original made in Sweden Hagstrom. Came from China. I’m part Swede so I at least had to have a guitar with the name on the headstock. But yeah. It does play nice. Happy I have it.
Yeah, mine was Chinese too. FWIW, I tgink the new Chinese ones beat the old Swedish ones all day long although my experience with either is pretty limited.

I would love a Hagstrom Fantomen!

Local guitar shop had a Super Swede in stock. Those suckers make a LP seem like they’re made of balsa wood. Heaviest guitar I have ever picked up..... till this Viking. This thing has some serious weight to it as well. Be the reason for the 3” leather strap I got for it. o_O
