Any Yes Fans?

For me this is one of the greatest pieces of music ever written. It is up there with Beethoven, Bach, etc.

I was checking out the RUSH thread today and then tonight got to watching a Gen Z you tuber commenting on 2112.
As I listened to him, I couldn't help but Jones for some YES.

The first song I revisited was The Gates of Delerium, WHAT a Freaking Insane display of creativity and the most unusual sounds one can imagine producing on instruments and tech from the 70's and before.

I saw them live right after Rick Wakeman was replaced by Patrick Moraz, on the last night of that tour. They were superhuman, with a killer light show. Just impossibly tight, and so much funkier than the records. First encore was “Roundabout.” Second and final encore was The Beatles’ “I’m Down,” which they rocked way harder than you’d think they could. One of my top ten shows ever. They even played “All Good People/Your Move.” So good.

Grew up in Lititz, PA, Clair brothers & Tait Towers, now Rock Lititz. They make the stage and sound for band tours. Yes & then Asia could be seen regularly back in the 70's walking around town or at the Pub. Nice dudes when you ran into them. High school friends are still working there & out on major tours for many years now.

On Water st, the warehouse where they used to practice. My gosh, noodling around they were so good, heavier than the albums, Killer bass for sure,

Funny, just last night watched the video for making of Fragile, never knew before they came into that album with individual songs because of time constraints & Wakeman joined & his arraigning moved them very sophisticated.

Roundabout always makes me pause when i hear it from time to to time, superior song ! I like yes
