I've had a Darkburst set in my Traditional for a while and now I have a Godwood in my Tribute. Amazing pickups!

Years ago after I bought my G400, was looking to upgrade from
The OEM Epi pups. Emailed Jim with a suggestion what sound/tone I was looking for. He suggested a hybrid. One was a Crossroads and the other can’t remember. Too long ago. Never pulled the plug using his pickups, went with Gibson 57s. I’m happy, but have alway wondered what might have been.

The Godwood is better than I thought it was when I first tried it. I've had it a long time, but only tried it when I first got it. The Darkburst set may be my favorite pickups ever.

I wish I could help but the Crossroads are the only ones of his that I have tried.

I've always wanted to try them, but have really good pickups in all my guitars right now. The problem is, I'd go for the DarkBurst or Fillmore being a Duane Allman fan. But, the pickups in his DarkBurst Les Paul were pulled from his '57 Gold Top and swapped by his roadie while he took the seller of the DarkBurst for a beer and stall for time. Duane didn't want to give the seller the pickups in his Gold Top. So, they should be the same pickup, right?
