Any idea what model Gretsch this is?

And how do you know the wiring is incorrect? I'm not trying to ruffle feathers here, but this guitar sound incredible. I'm also 99% sure the wiring and pickups have been untouched.
He meant the US model wiring - they had four knobs, three in the control compartment and another by the lower horn.
Also, as someone pointed out upthread, the pickups on yours likely were changed to vintage correct Filter'Tron types.

FWIW, some Gretsches have the serial number stamped into the uppermost edge of the headstock.
Don't know if any of the recent models have it there, but that's where it is on my '54.

 
Okay, thanks for the information. I'll keep looking for a number. It has to be somewhere. To be honest I'm happy with the information I've received from everyone. I'll never sell it and knowing what model it is and the changes made to it is good enough for me.
