Another Ninjaking NGD

If you want, I can send you a loaner pickup until you get sorted out....
Thanks Robert. I really appreciate the offer. It's very kind of you. I have a lead on a '57 Classic+ that I may pick up tomorrow. Just deciding whether to sell the BB Pros or to fix the reverse magnet in the BB Pro 1 neck pickup and leave it in to pair with the 57 Classic + bridge.

The out of phase tone isn't for everyone.....but I bet a pair already flipped would be worth more than a standard pair...

I just remembered that I promised Syscokid that I would weigh the Studio T for him. It is 7 lbs 15.8 oz.
Just for fun, I weighed my other LPs to compare:

Gibson LP Studio T - 7 lb 15.8 oz
Warmoth Custom - 9 lb 3 oz
Gibson LP Standard Double Cut - 7 lb 8 oz
Chibson LP Standard - 8 lb 5 oz

So there you have it!
Both the Studio and DC are "weight relieved", hence the lower weight. The Chibson has only a veneer of maple on the top. The rest is some unknown mahogany type of wood. The Warmoth is the only one with a thick maple top and full slab of mahogany. That is why it is so heavy, but not outrageously so.

Hopefully I can make some time today to strip the LP and install the new harness and switch.
I also want to reverse the magnet in the neck pickup as it is bass akwards and install the new ‘57 Classic Plus in the bridge slot.
Seems SWMBO has other chores planned for my time today though.

lol---

Was curious --- I dive--- used to dive a LOT in the Keys--- not so much anymore-- 1 year I think I spent more time UNDER water than on top of it........ah.....youth...
now it just looks like heavy crap I dont feel like carrying to the rented boat (cause I did my time OWNING them---ugh)

yeah on second thought-- been there dove that---screw it I'll just sit here and noodle on bass ;)

Watch out for those Gators, they sneak up on you.:fan:

Surgery was a success! All is back together with pics to follow.
I wanted to let everyone know that the BB Pro #1 in the neck measured 7.99 kOhms and the new 57 Classic Plus in the bridge was 8.8 kOhms. Both were measured at a temperature of about 20 degrees Celsius. That is around 68 degrees F for you non-Metric types!
