I just learned on CBC news that the legendary Robbie Robertson of The Band passed away at 80 today. Robbie Robertson is dead... Long Live his memory and his legacy! Rest In Power... Sad times, indeed.

Highly underrated musician with a storybook career behind him. From backing up Ronnie Hawkins, then Bob Dylan to being the defacto leader of The Band and later writing soundtracks of great movies; he was involved in so much. RIP Robbie
