The MüB 'Miezo' 18/6 is a six string octave bass, 18" scale and tuned BEADGC.
It sports a single Bartolini pickup with a coil tap, active electronics, and it also has an onboard system with aux in/headphone out for silent practice.
For someone like me that doubles on bass and guitar, it's the perfect traveling companion.
Here's what it sounds like:

Everything you hear is Miezo, through an HX Stomp and a Boss RC-3 Loop Station recorded via a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 into a mac desktop running Logic Pro X.

Okay, that IS different!

Very nice composition, as well.
TY!
i actually don't really 'compose' music in a formal sense anymore.
All of my original material is done as layered improvisations with little
to no pre-planning; each separate track is usually recorded in one pass
with no edits, punch-ins, or do overs, and minimal post-production.
What you hear is what happened in real time, with me reacting to the other
musicians; they just happen to all be me.

But does it work with a tube amp? Don't know what those weird names, letters and numbers you played through mean.

HX Stomp
is a digital modeler by Line 6 that provides amp/cab sims and fx. It's a smaller version of their Helix.
Scarlett 2i2 is an audio interface made by Focusrite that converts analog signals into digital info that can be uploaded to a computer.
The computer is a mac desktop model, and Logic Pro X is the DAW (digital audio workstation) that i used to record and mix the track on.
i don't use amps much at the moment, but yes; it does work with a good old fashioned tube amp too.
i'm just always trying to make my rig as light and as compact as possible, so this is where i'm at nowadays:

That's Miezo in her travel gig bag, along with a Phil Jones HA-2 'Bighead' amp /audio interface, and a few cables. That (along with a macbook air laptop running a DAW with onboard amp/cab sims and fx, and a set of B & O wireless in-ear monitors) is as compact as it gets for now.

I was being sarcastic. Guess I should have made that more clear. I have a reputation as a solid state hater at the other place - they'd have gotten it.

I posted as much here, here and here.

Many thanks for the detailed description in any event. Looks to be a fascinating instrument.

Kewl, I’m a Helix user, too!

Here’s a little glimpse of my Helix rig:

I’ve also been known to use software. I’ve played this rig live before. It’s an iPad running Bias FX2 and using a MIDI controller to switch patches. Currently, I’m using a PreSonus audio interface, but I’m planning on upgrading that.
