Closest I come to a modded pedal is a Keely Fuzz Head. But it’s not modded. It’s one of his in house builds. Always thought it’d be cool to have one of his modded Boss Blues Driver, but bought a Bad Monkey instead.
I like mine, I've had a few of them but got rid of them back when they were still cheap, they aren't anymore. I got another one recently in a trade and I won't let this one go.Especially when one feeds the Bad Monkey into the Fuzz Head. Makes some pretty nice noise.A Bad Monkey's not bad.I like mine, I've had a few of them but got rid of them back when they were still cheap, they aren't anymore. So what does the modded Ge-7 do? I've heard it's a hiss reduction, i.e a lot quieterJust sent my boss GE 7 in to get the modifications done also have a ibanez Ts808 i want the silver mod done an might send in my DD-5
Anyone using some of his modified pedals?
Should have it back in a couple weeks! Had to get the blue led lightbulb instead of red![]()
Yes. It's so noisy stock and I play with a lot of gain which makes it unusable for me.So what does the modded Ge-7 do? I've heard it's a hiss reduction, i.e a lot quieter
This is what the site shows. I guess this is just the mod only? Unless I'm reading this incorrectly

No kidding? Ive noticed that when gain and EQ are pushed hard, this tends to happen even in processors and fx units; least mine does (having just an overdrive pedal in the front of the amp with the gain pushed a lot does it too for me). I usually have to compensate it with a noise gate.Yes. It's so noisy stock and I play with a lot of gain which makes it unusable for me.
It's not just my GE-7 either. I have a MXR 10 band and it's not much better. No kidding? Ok, that makes a lot more sense. Now I might have to consider sending mine in, depending on what 4406Pack says when he get's his back.Went to the website. The $269 price is for a brand new already modded pedal. Not the price to mod yours. That looks to be the price in this info @ $55.

There appears to be a form to fill out available on the web site. I think that’s where you’ll find current pricing. Didn’t spend a lot of time reading since I’m on my tiny phone screen and not my laptop.Ok, that makes a lot more sense.
