Obviously very talented.

Have you always known about this, or is it a hidden talent recently debuted?

Usually those "fan" drawings are amateurish- not this one. Really nice artwork.

Hidden talent as far as I know. I've know him since 1984 and never recall him doing much drawing. I do remember him
drawing a few characters for a D&D game that were pretty good, but nothing at this level.

He recently retired and has time on his hands and started drawing again. I saw some of his work on Facebook and
immediately ask for a Gilmour portrait. We are very close friends so he jumped right on it!

I was stationed with him in Japan for 11 years. He is still there and married to a Japanese girl. They live in Tokyo.
He will never move back to the US, he just loves it over there and has adopted the culture.

Not sure? He used three separate photos to make his own take, maybe he didn't notice, not sure. He is not a guitar player, I know that. I'll ask him...
