I believe they were just called Cinderella, but I'm not an expert. My drummer requested that we do the song, so I complied. Spot on, that's the one in any case!
Thanks. I don't play a lot of high gain rock/metal which seems to be the 'norm' around here, so I figured this might go down well.
Here's another riff. Not metal, not even hard rock, but I reckon some will get it...

Yes, I get that. To be fair, it's very easy to pick riffs that nobody is ever going to guess. Likewise there are plenty out there that you instantly recognize. Just the first two or three notes of Start Me Up, Sunshine Of Your Love or Roll Over Beethoven would be enough, right.

Hint (yeah, not much of one, but still). It's not just a title, but a name.
I’m preaching to the choir in this group. So humor me. At first blush, I’m hearing Chuck Berry….. but then it could just as easily be the Stones. Sooooo many tunes I’ve listened to over the years where this is the progression I use to play “air bass” in my head while listening. That said. Thinking this is a particular song…. And it just ain’t coming to me.

Chuck Berry.... nope, I don't think so. While I can't recall ever having seen them do it, I'm fairly certain the Stones must have played it live at some point....
The answer was actually Lucille, Little Richard. Or any one of the thousand covers out there.

Not sure if this really counts as the pattern isn't exactly repeated in the song, but I think it's fairly recognizable as an intro riff. I'm not exactly a pianist, but I can hammer some stuff out.
