Amp or Guitar? Dissected by a pro

We’ll just see what he says after he plays a Billy Goat Fat Bob or a Fat Stanley…maybe even a Slim Stanley!

I prefer efficiency and familiarity. I believe that everything can be done on either a Les Paul or a Stratocaster. For country session work, you'd probably need a Telescsater, but other than those 3 guitars, you really don't need anything else.

Granted, you may want something else, but it's really not necessary, just personal preference.

I like how a Gibson RD and Explorer look, but they are not necessary for me to earn a living.

For me, everything I do has to make musical and financial sense.

Cool video. 62 minutes full of interesting info and a good insight into the mind of a very talented and classy guitar player.
you watched the video ?!?!?!-- NO ONE WACHES THE VIDEOS!!!! ---

Look Mr -- this is IMPROPER PROTOCOL !!!! you have to NOT watch the video and then make opinion based unrelated and argumentative comments solely based on the thread or video title and exponentiate on how horrible the video was and such .... man -- Sysco, you have ruined the whole flow ..... ;)

It was quite interesting -- man if he hadnt wanted to change his strings that one night he woulda lost a Strat and a real original early PRS --- which he takes VERY GOOD CARE OF judging by years of touring and pristinity of the guitar

Speech escapes me...

"If I took an Epiphone Les Paul and a Peavey Bandit or if I took a '59 Les Paul and a Dumble, chances are I'm going to sound very similar, and, to me, that's gear in a nutshell"... Joe Bonamassa
HEY!!!! That's my signature! I think that's a copywrite infringement on my copywrite infringement... :flash:

Tree goats prefer tender leaves in the uppermost branches.
During the summer they come down from their lofty perches to gnaw Les Pauls by the campfires side.
Principally grazing independent of altitudes, they flourish throughout the globe climbing fearlessly ever upward.
Quite remarkable the tree goat. Or maybe it's some kind of mental condition.

Well confusing, I own amps bought from David as far as Marshall's go top five best sounding I have ever played
I'm down to 35 guitars and two basses all cherry picked but will vote for the amps.

Now this amp just surfaced it's got my goat.

It's kind of blurry.
Does it have an FET input? and a normal input? I can't see it that clearly.
