All things Led Zeppelin

Chilli, Ya know, they sell these wonderful things called tarps.

OH DONO< Little do you know the SHITE that happens to me, Tarp or no Tarp.

Here is a little time line and back story.
First off, the job is fixing the lowest brick step on my buddy's dad's house. His dad is in the midst of dementia, but not quite as bad as my mom. He is 80 and now lives alone since his wife died 2 years ago.

Of course we used to spend part of Thanksgiving there every year with about 20 of the family and a few friends like me. So, as today approached I was kind of missing Karen and surely knew Dale was missing his dear bride too.

Anyhow, It was Tuesday that I went to Lowes to buy a board to form up the curb/ pad that the bricks will get re installed on after I demo'd the old one. Once I got my board, I was in the cement aisle and spied a cart full of broken bags that I could get for $1 apiece. BUT loading them without losing all the cement would be tricky since I did not see the large paper sacks that Lowes normally puts these in. The loader guys only had some that were so thin that just hand gripping them was likely to tear em open. Well, I managed to get them in the truck and then set beside the steps on top of some metal car ramps he had. 8 or 9 bags total.

I later finished my bricks demo and got to making the form to be ready to pour yesterday. So, my plan at the start of the day where I made my statement above was almost all laid out in my mind. ( Little did I know that by the time I arrived at the job, that plan would be all altered and thus set the tone for how my day would go)

First, I have 2 vehicles I operate out of, my Toyota car, and my F150. The car had a supply of a plastic mortar pan, saw, cords, drills, etc etc.
Second, My truck had my Shitton of tools like other saws, snips, hammers, "Kitchen sink" of all manner of tools, right down to Tarps and more Greenhouse plastic from doing my Hoop House. To be continued.

Gball,

Another of my top songs is In My Time of Dying.
That Kick drum of Bonzo is just incredible on this one,

The whole album is a masterpiece.

Another song that still blow my mind all these years later is ‘Four Sticks’ - when I first heard it that was pretty much the heaviest thing i’d ever had in my earholes.

It's funny how we think alike, gball

Ok Don, where was I before a mad rush to haul food from Halethorpe to Otterbein?

So if it was my job story, here goes. So I trekked from Halethorpe to Manchester to pick up my truck and tools and to get my tools from the Toyota loaded into the truck. Success, then on to White Marsh where I arrived to find the homeowner put the 8 bags up onto the porch with a trail of cement dust covering the steps which I had to clean up.

Then after I got all the jackhammering done, form placed and 2 bags of concrete installed, I now had to enter the realm of redundant plus extra work thanks to the homeowner. All in all I think his trying to be helpful added another 1.5 hrs to my day before I could even drive the 40 minutes home to start over at unloading all my stuff the impending rain would damage. Finally done my wrestling match by 8 or so last night.

Gball,. Last night as I ate my dinner I put on Prime to find a docu on LZep 4. I had to wince when one Brit pundit labeled Grafitti as a not much album of mostly filler songs. Yeah Right, buddy.

Here is another thing I noticed while watching the Amazon Prime documentary on Zep 4. Some footage from Song Remains the Same during Stairway to Heaven. The stop tails on the Gib 1275 are really low toward the bottom edge instead of up farther like an LP or SG has.

Anyone know why?

Contrast this to how the Alex Lifeson's 1275 is.
