All of the Offset Talk Lately...

have found such a balance in guitars this past few months,,,the offsets are incredible...actually rejuvenated my enthusiasm into Silverface fenders..why did i wait so long to try 24 scale at my size ??

Honestly, I’m happy with that scale....until I try a full 6 string barre chord around the tenth fret...then I have to pay attention, and keep my nails clipped. ;)
 
Alright, I had a couple while cooking dinner...here’s a one off of half of AIC “The Rooster”.
By the way, I’ve figured out how to use an external USB preamp with the iPhone (@Mitch Pearrow SJMP )...I have the level on the ribbon(feeding left ear/speaker) a little too high. It sounds a little fluffy on occasion. Warning, it ain’t pretty...
Set up: That crazy Mustang from this thread, Ray’s “Fire Bomb” pedal(I don’t remember what it’s an OD build of, but I love the way it cleans up with guitar volume), Muff variant(towards the end...the big dirt), in to the Phaez clean channel, Audix I5 on the Mesa cab(lower left speaker), Apex 210 on the 2X12(about a foot out...4 feet from my mouth), ART USB Dual Pre, lightning to USB adapter in to iPhone 7.

Nice BDon !! that has the grit..the grunge..really into the grit hitting into fuzz lately !! Thanks for the share

Really getting into the 90's now..was so much headbanging that i sorta skipped it cept for AIC..SoundG

Thanks @BFT Gibson ! I’d have put up more of it, but the server kept complaining of the size of the file. I do love a bit of the AIC...I wish I could do it more justice. I thought it would cover this guitar pretty well though...clean was both pickups around 5 on the volume control, mid dirt was both pickups full volume, and I flipped to the bridge near the very end of the clip(full volume).
