So the way things usually end up for me at Christmas time is that I pick my own gift and buy it. I did not know what I wanted to buy myself until last night. I ordered a pignose amp. I bought my 3 year old grandson his first guitar for Christmas as seen in video below

Mrs Wav and I will be watching lil' Robert and his 3 month old brother on weekends while his parents are at work. I bought the pignose for me to bring with my guitar and start teaching my 3rd generation how to play guitar. This will be my 3rd grandchild I will be introducing to the wonderful world of playing music.
The pignose should be here tomorrow and I'll try to get Mrs Wav to get a video of us with our axes.

That's super-awesome! I love seeing any young kid actually wanting to get into music, whatever instrument it may be but certainly I'm biased and love it more when they want to grab an axe and get to work lol

Good on you for getting this for the lil guy! And tell us more on this Pignose! I've loved those amps since I was a little kid, watching Ralph Macchio play one in a pawn shop, deep in the Mississippi Delta in the film, Crossroads. I never got my hands on one, but rather a substitute Fender Mini Twin when I was 15 for Christmas, that landed me in trouble in highschool for playing it in the hallways during lunchtime lol

Amazon says it will be here today. Crossroads, Zappa, street artists and so many more times I've seen the pignose being used, but I have yet to play on one. Most of my gear is in storage, including a BlackStar Fly 3 mini stack which is my preferred "portable" rig. It's much easier and faster to buy a pignose than it would be for me to dig through my storage locker, all the way in the back corner bottom box.

I received the little piggy Saturday to find that it did not sit level on all 4 corners, it would totter on 3 corners. It sounded ok when placed on the carpet, however it would vibrate when placed on a hard surface. Free return to Amazon and replacement should arrive Tuesday
