Who TF are the Washington Commanders?

I am in no way shape or form a football (or any sport for that matter) fan, but some of those are pretty cool. I like the Buccaneers one, but I'm a Tampa fan by default, even tho I don't get into it.

Then they were just "The Washington Football Team" for a few years.
I kinda like the Terminator-ish robot thing for Pittsburgh.

I am originally from DC and wish they hadn't changed the name, but I did kinda like 'Football Team' because it had a certain F-You quality - but Commanders is just a big, fat NO.
