Alex Lifeson

Guess I may be living under a rock or something. Till this thread, I had no idea who Rick Beato is. I may have heard his name somewhere, but had no idea what it was he did. {Insert Shoulder Shrug}
That's ok, iblive,
I am betting that you may not know a lot of people I do, and vice versa, I am sure that you know a ton of folks I don't.

FYI, Rick Beato teaches things about playing instruments, singing, ear training and a host of other musicianship skills. Then in addition to those topics, he has made many videos such as the interview type with Geddy and Alex. Peter Frampton and a host of other musicians who are in the business.

Here is a perfect example of something I am sure we would never have imagined listening to, let alone seeing the actual ICON of music tell it in his own way.

Another of my all time favorite guitar players answering questions I never would have dreamed to ask him. FYI, I have not watched the clip below, only a portion of it as I develop my thoughts. After making it to the 10:00+ mark, I realized one of the most impactful impressions that David Gilmour left me with as he chats with Rick. We are able to see the human sides of what typically are people that are put high on pedestals.

Yet in reality, they are regular Joe's who play music and fill the lives of strangers with moments and even lifetimes of joy. I like how Rick bridges the gap between players and fans for those of us who are too poor to ever buy VIP experiences, or be groupies and backstage dressing room crashers, or the babes who do what babes do with the BAND...

MAN, I made it to 15:03+ and Gilmour starts to make my brain smolder. Wacky tuning of his acoustic guitar

2 high strings strung the same others 1 octave higher than normal and the low E, 2 octaves higher. HOLY Clap, waiting to see how that turns out.
