Aldo Nova's Fantasy:

Ok..Since Hearing This Song for The First Time - In 1982 - I Wanted To Perform A Cover Version Of It. Based On A Drum Track laid Down By My Colleague - Session Drummer Extraordinaire Ffej Rednil - This Song Was Built, Track By Track, Here In My Home Studio. The Guitar Used for ALL TRACKS Is a Schecter C1 Through a Blackstar ID-Core 100. The Bass Is An Ibanez Import Through a Fender Rumble 40, Direct-Out Into My DAW. I Am Performing All lead & Backing Vocals, Plus Production and Engineering.

This Has To be The Most Fun I have Had Yet While Making Demos!!!!!

Nice job bro

If it doesn't, I still have my copy from your post!
I'm totally serious about this, been waiting since the 80's for someone to do this track justice.

And you are that someone lol

Once again, really great playing and singing my brotha.

I'm humbled, Man...I always been a huge fan of this tune and Aldo!!!!

There's a couple of sour notes and some backing vocals that stray outside the time signature, but other than that, its decent for a home production i think....I've also considered doubling the solo for more presence, but may not....

Why am I never seeing any links or anything in any of Robert's threads about songs, and others seem to have seen somewhere he demo's them and then they have commented?

I do see a few links in post number 1 here.
But if memory serves me right, they were not there for me all along before I am seeing them today.

Rob!! That was FANTASTIC!! And you used a Canadians song too boot, You cheekie Little Man, I'm sure he would be proud!!:celebrate: :)(y)

DAYUM!!! Robert, you already know that I'm one of your biggest fans, if not your #1 fan. Aside from your musical ability which does not usually surprise me as I now expect nothing less than perfection from you, your cover of this song is simply outstanding!! If I did not know that was you playing and singing, I would have thought that it was Aldo Nova. That song takes me back to 1982, where I was living, who I was with and what I was doing. Thank you for the memories.
