Active Pickups?

Do actives care what kind of hardware like passives do? Like bridge/stopbar material can totally change the way a guitar sounds/feels, even tuners can make a difference and I won't even mention wood. But does all (or any of that) matter with active pickups?
I've never changed the bridge/stopbar or tuning machines on my "good" guitars, except binning the robo-tuners on the Firebird, and the 2 Bigsby trems installed in place of the stopbars.
Sorry, but I don't think I have a frame of reference to answer the question.

That's ok, I just figured I'd ask. I have so many things running thru my head right now.

My Tribute has the original chrome (nickle?) hardware on it right now, but I like the look of it better with the black hardware I had on it before I did the refinish and realize the black hardware was killing the tone when I put the original bridge/stop bar/ tuners back on. I'm just wondering if it'll make any difference or not if I put actives in it.

It’s a dumb canard that EMGs “sound the same no matter what guitar they’re in/mods you do,” etc. I’ve used EMG SA-X pickups in my guitar for 30 years, and you could hear the chambered body and the Callaham bridge when they were installed. The mythos around EMGs is baffling to me. They’re just pickups, and they pick up the string vibration.
