BOOK EM DANO!

Danelectro COnvertible...........sweet acoustic tone light as a feather plays like butter and the top is SO RESONANT certan note played on the G will get the A to sound off----it literally VIBRATES as you play .....

amazing .....

I have been looking at the Michael Kelly "port" series of guitars. I may have finally found an acoustic that fits. I need some in-hand time though. Any reason to hit the guitar shops!!

I just think Dannys are about the coolest guitars going. That one's a definite keeper.

Thanks !!!

Well it is till someone with the right $ comes along----- but it will have to be a LOT of the right $$$$ lol

The thing is so SIMPLE......like JG said even the bridge......(talk about floating) it just SITS there held by the strings .....you can slide it around if ya want .......I need to get a weight on it....whole thing as light as a feather.

I always liked the Ovation round backs.........but...they are AWKWARD to play seated for sure......the big dreadnoughts are just to BIG and chunky

and then there is this Danelectro--- perfect --- LOUD for the size ---

here ya go check it out:

And the Convertible in the hands of a skilled craftsman

Every once in a while, I'll exercise my acoustic side.

You are indeed shameless. That's why your so well liked.

the trick is: when you find a good one, don't sell it.
Three Acoustics@100.jpg
1936 Martin 0-17 "Rosebud"
1975 Mossman Flint Hills dred "Amber"
2006 Martin XC1T "Number Nine"

Amber and Rosebud have the Baggs Lyric microphone mounted beneath the bridge plate,
and #9 has the Fishman Elipse Blend system factory installed. Both setups work great.

The guy in the GC acoustic dept said that tehse Michael Kelly guitars are good at first, but had many neck and electronics issues. I take it with a grain because they no longer carry them, but he is a pretty good guy and soft sell.

Funny this came up as I just recently have done some setup work and have been playing my acoustic more to where it feels right to me.
Just the other day I noticed I was NOT uncomfortable in any way and was just focusing on playing.
We are finally becoming fast friends.
