Guys/Gals...

I keep banging the top edge of my cabinet (right above the nameplate) getting this in and out of my trunk.

What could I use to make an attractive piece of "armor" that would fit along this radius???

Well, we know the metal edge guards work. Last night, as we were breaking down...somehow...the cabinet got knocked over - flat on its face on the cement.

The head had already been loaded into my car, as had most of the other equipment, so that was a huge relief.

Cab looks great. Looks like the screw heads on the edge guards are the only thing that suffered any abrasion.

My only concern now is if the speakers survived the face-down impact. It was too late to test anything.

Thoughts???

If any soldering was involved and you're positive it was a well done job, then there should be no problem here. The cabinet protected new-ish speakers themselves probably take more abuse while pumping a ton of volume through them than a short drop onto the ground. But of course you won't really know until you operate them again.
