A tribute to Dash Crofts

Dash Crofts passed away yesterday. One of the few songs he sang solo was the song 'King Of Nothing'.

I will forever be thankful that I got to to see a Seals and Crofts performance at the Rhode Island Providence Civic Center in the early 70s.

I recorded a cover of 'King Of Nothing' 22 years ago that I have never shared with anyone until today.

Yes well done, I too didn’t know any of the music other than what was on the radio. A little to easy listening for my anxty youth. But it seems like there was gold in them hills. Nice tribute, thanks for posting it.

Yeah. Other than "Summer Breeze" and "Diamond Girl", the majority of their music never received radio airtime.

I own all of their vinyl albums, and yes, there was gold.
