I just snagged these 12" dolls in mint condition "sealed" on eBay today. I've always kinda wanted the original set to a degree but I came to like the "Dressed to Kill" series more. Maybe I need to grow up because maybe I do just feel a tad bit silly. Oh well, they are very cool and will hold their value 'til I can pass them on, ...or I pass on. Lol.

I'll get more pics up when I get them. Right now I'm going to climb a tree in my back yard and maybe tightrope walk the cyclone fence.

I couldn't keep @Thatbastarddon's Godzilla out of my head!!

Yea, the four and sealed and actually a decent price is great. I looked high and low for others and there was nothing. Seems I was in the right place at the right time to me.

They were $425 for all. That's only $106 each for what was probably only marked up another $25-$30 or so dollars over what they were new each. I would have expected about $250 a doll, but I'm no expert.

I used to have the Metallica figures and stage

I was an irresponsible teenager and fell asleep with a candle burning. A fire resulted that destroyed the damn thing, among some other stuff. I was lucky enough to wake up and see the fire and smother everything out before any real damage happened to the house or anything, though I did need to repaint lol

Lars is still around, he hangs out in the band room. And I ran across Jason a while back, he's hanging out in my RV.

James actually suffered a worse and ironic fate. The fire melted him down, but only his arms and leg. Not sure if you guys remember but in 1992 James actually was burned pretty seriously onstage after having stood directly above a fire pot:


Didn't even connect my fire and James real life fire until some years later, or I might have kept him LOL

Don't remember what happened to Kirk. Seem to remember he was destroyed too.
 
I’ve never been much of a collector. Tried Bi-Centennial quarters for awhile and got bored. Cool bar coasters…. But since I don’t frequent bars, that’s kinda a non starter.

I guess the closest I come to having a passion to collect anything, would be Alistair MacLean books. “Guns of Navarone,” “Ice Station Zebra.” “Where Eagles Dare.” That guy. Between paper back and hard cover I’ve accumulated everything he wrote. 32 books total.

Man that's a crazy thing. I saw them in 92 after James was burned. When James got burned that was the show Axle started the riot.

James played the show in San diego but he was bandaged and the had a guy from. Metal Church playing I believe. That's when Kirk had to learn the intro to Nothing else matters.
