A Real Blues Cruise

Didn't Mark Twain say something along the line of "being on a cruise ship is like being in prison, but with the risk of drowning?"
I have zero interest in a cruise but the music, man the music. 44 years ago I spent part of a winter on the island of Aegina in Greece. All the hotels were closed up for winter except one. Very sleepy, peaceful, beautiful place. Once a week a cruise ship would stop for a couple of hours. The place went insane. All the closed restaurants and shops opened. The price of everything quadrupled. There were people everywhere. I dreaded the days when the cruise ship showed up. I said to myself that I would never be one of those cruise ship passengers. I’ve mellowed my views since then but it is still something that doesn’t really interest me.

Yes, the music. Did you see that lineup?!
