A Rare Musical Glimpse - The Von Herndon Double Neck on Tape:

Ok, this almost got deleted because it has errors in it. Not long ago, my drummer friend and I laid down the drum and bass tracks to Hotel California in the key of A minor. I then tracked the rhythm parts on my Von Herndon Double Neck with a borrowed Boss AC-3 Acoustic Simulator, running through my Blackstar ID-Core 100 Watt Solid State Combo.

I then tracked the solo on the VH Double Neck on the Blackstar - without any other effects - other than the internal delay and reverb.

The "chucka-chucka" phrasing was recorded through the same amp on the 2016 Gibson Les Paul with 498T in the bridge

Here you can really hear the different tone the 3/4" shifted towards the neck bridge pickup makes in this recording. Guitar volume all the way up, bridge tone set to 7. Amplifier gain full up on 'super crunch' setting, bass/mids cranked, treble at 1 o'clock.

I added a second, duplicated tracks in the opposite speaker with some reverb on it for effect, but the Thro-Bak SLE-101 really speaks with authority here.

As you listen, kindly disregard the errors and just focus on the tone...
