I learned how to play standing. From day 1, I just wanted to RAWK! so as I learned it was always standing and with the strap too low (think Jimmy Page).
I've raised the strap a lot over the years (still on the low side though) but have never learned how to play comfortably sitting down.

I learned how to play sitting down and now I don't feel comfortable standing when I play.
