NOBODY really wants me to sing lead...but i do it when it moves the group forward.
 
My drummer and i are taking on Africa by Toto as a fun, quarantine project. The goal is to use no keys and make a stripped-down version that you would hear a live 4 piece perform.

The difficult part about female voice characterization in falsetto is that while it does fit the song if you listen close to the spoken passages, they have an almost cartoonish quality to them.

As long as it doesn’t come off like Elmer Fudd doing falsetto..... it’s all good.
