A Little Nervous…But Psyched!

Yeah, I’m hoping we’ll get some good photos and maybe some video. This is a brand new band, so getting promotional material is important.

The way the singing thing came about was kind of funny. Our drummer made a comment during one song that he felt there should be some background vocals. He looked at me and asked, “Do you sing?”

I started to answer and just got, “Well…” out of my mouth, when he cut me off and said. “Good!” Then he motioned to the the lead vocalist and said, “Set that microphone up for him.” With that, I’m now singing.

The drummer is really good. During a break in practice tonight, he mentioned how he has filled in for the L.A. Guns before. Working around such players is really making me work extra hard.

Very cool bro,, and that is what it’s all about.

We were going to share the time slot with another band, but they had to back out because their guitar player got Covid.

So, we added a few more songs to our set to take up more time.

Nothing like learning more tunes the day before the gig! But, they’re pretty simple.

Well, apparently we’re making an impression.

“Can’t wait to see this amazing band. I Overheard some people talking about this totally funky fun band and how they kept them up dancing all night. They even said that they only took breaks from dancing when the band took breaks.So as soon as I come to town I got to get my butt out and see this band.”
