Lol crickets huh? That's bad enough for me. I got a simple rule: with the exception of butterflies/lightning bugs, anything with more than 2 wings or four legs is cause for panic, terror and fleeing on site. Praying Mantises get a pass because they are such excellent mercenaries against the other insect world lolDude,
I have similar story to the hotel nightmare.
When I was just a kid, my mom and step-dad took us kids on a vacation to Kentucky, where he was from.
Anyway, when we we opened the hotel room door, the room had crickets all over the place! Serious. Not roaches...crickets!
So, yeah, we turned tail quick and found another hotel.
No but I was surprised there was still water in that bongHe prolly gathered any roaches up and rolled em all into a grandfather doob looong ago

No kidding? Hell man, we're practically neighbors! Lol my brother lived in Charlottesville for a few years then headed west a lil bit, over the mountain to Waynesboro for a good while before coming back here in the sticks of WV.Well, sorry for a couple of things. First of all, sorry you had to go to Charlottesville. I live right outside C'Ville....I don't like or want to be here, but family be calling (Grandchildren), so I'm here. I basically always hated DM Band, and yeah he's a local hero around these parts, and when he was here I was hearing all kinds of horror stories similar to yours, traffic, parking, nastiness, hotels, air BnB etc. I am originally from NYC and then a number of years on Long Island. I miss Long Island. Anyway, great what you went through for your wife.....but I need sympathy too. As an aside, the original violin guy with the band grew up in the house next to mine, I don't even know his name, but I'm sure most of you know who I'm talking about.
