I figured I might as well post these here too. Some of you have seen them, since I posted them over at ETSG quite a while ago. Both clips are from a beer tasting we did last February, hence the well-behaved and seated crowd. The clips were filmed by the brewery's COB on his phone, but the sound is not completely crap, considering. All members of the band belong to the beer community. The keyboard player is the other brewer at my brewery, the drummer works in sales for another brewery, and the bass player is a home brewer and owns part of Norway's first commercial meadery. We don't rehearse much (last year we had more gigs than band practices...), but we have fun. When we play, we usually try to tie the theme or title of the song to one of our beers, the connections are often VERY stilted, but it makes for a lot of fun. The first clip is a short excerpt from our version of Muddy Waters' "Hoochie Coochie Man", the second one is the end of "Same Old Blues" by Freddie King and the start of "Three O'Clock Blues" by Lowell Fulson (although we mostly have listened to BB Kings version of the song). I screw up the lyrics and my voice is shot in "Same Old Blues" (last two songs of the set), but I still hope you like it!
