A Couple Of Beatle Covers

First vocal post ever....

Nothing perfected. Needed to start this year off right.

On the Harmony Singer, only using the reverb and its built in compression effects.
Played and sang, then sung along to form what you are hearing. 3 tracks total.

The mic is new. Tried something new with EV ND86.
Did not go for a recording mic, as it would pick up to much unwanted sound from the room.

Some things need to be said twice! :dood:

Actually Mitch, I have to thank you my Brother. Your enthusiasm, love for music, and awesome jams are infectious!
As well as ALL that have been posting clips here!
You ALL inspire me! Thank you!!
I am not worthy of the compliment, but I will take it!!
Everyone has made feel welcome, and very comfortable, I like to post clips of my playing to share with everyone, my progress, and lack of skills that so many of you all possess.
I am very happy my enthusiasm has caught on, because I love hearing my brothers clips.
Cheers Mitch

Excellent work stringtree!!!, you have a good voice and great playing well done Sir!(y)(y) And really liken the Strat, Strats are my Fav.

Thanks. :dood:
Your very kind, all a work in progress. Strats type guitars are so mod-able, easy to work on. I dig them too!

Awesome job stringtree. I love the Beatles. My favorite band of all time.Well done.

Thanks. :dood:
The Beatles are what got me started, and are my favorite band too.

Home now, so nice to hear these songs i love so much!
NIce work on both.

My attempt earlier this evening at I Feel Fine was a total crash and burn, but thanks for the inspiration!
I can do barre chords ok and moving around holding the shape I can do the fingerings ok but cant get the notes to ring out.
Back to Living After Midnight and Grinder!!

Thanks jtcnj.

I just checked out some instructional videos on youtube for I Feel Fine. I see what your talking about.
That pinky stretch for me, is a real bear to say the least. Especially on the 3rd fret barre chord.

Ya he got me started too but nothing id put on the air with out more pratice. And getting the words right.

You can do it JohnnyGoo. God knows, I'm no singing expert.

I don't have there singing range. I tuned my guitar down 1 1/2 steps to C# tuning.
Then still changed the key of the song to fit my voice if it didn't sound good.

Best singing advise, your speaking voice is your singing voice.
It was only just a few days ago I started getting these results that I have posted.
I kept trying to sing a higher range than what I was.
